Graphic Designer originally from Medellín, Colombia, with an outstanding
academic background. Graduated from the Universidad del Área Andina in
Bogotá, Colombia. I obtained a Master's degree in Typographic Design from the
Centro de Estudios Gestalt in Mexico. Additionally, I hold a Certificate in Typeface
Design from the Department of Continuing Education at Cooper Union, New York.
With over 18 years of experience in the field, my main focus is on Typography,
Brand Design, and Editorial Design. Since 2006, I have had the honor of serving
as a lecturer in these disciplines. My passion for typography and design has led
me to participate as a speaker at renowned national and international events,
such as ATypI Tokyo 2019, Typographics 2020, Design Matters, and What Design
Can Do in 2023. Since 2024, I have been a faculty member at the Universidad
Nacional de México, in the Faculty of Arts and Design (FAD), and I was shortlisted
for the Communication Arts 2024 Design Shortlist with my typeface SandHouse.
