Joseph Han is the Executive Creative Director at COLLINS, where he brings a
wealth of expertise honed over years of leadership and creative innovation.
Previously, he served as an Associate Partner at Pentagram and a Design Director
at Base, shaping the direction of high-impact design projects. An honors
graduate with a BFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design,
Joseph also completed the Type at Cooper program at Cooper Union and is
currently a valued faculty member, teaching senior students in the Graphic
Design program at the School of Visual Arts. In 2023, GDUSA recognized his
contributions to the field by naming him to their People to Watch list.

Joseph’s client portfolio spans a vast array of industries and sectors, from global
brands like Apple, Google, Meta, Samsung, Verizon, Gap, Peloton, Equinox, and
Blackstone, to esteemed cultural and educational institutions including The New
York Botanical Garden, Space10, the AIA Center for Architecture, The Institute of
Design, Carnegie Mellon University, Yale University, and Storefront for Art &
Architecture. He has also collaborated with consumer-driven brands such as Van
Leeuwen Ice Cream, Buffy, Venn, and Unsplash, tailoring impactful strategies that
resonate with diverse audiences.

His work has earned accolades and been featured by leading design
organizations and publications, including Tokyo TDC, Cannes Lions, D&AD, AIGA,
Design Week, ADC, The New York Times, WIRED, Fast Company, It’s Nice That,
GDUSA, Communication Arts, and the Gwangju Design Biennale, underscoring
