The starting point was a simple question: how would Van Gogh paint his wheat fields if extreme heat became the norm due to climate change?
Images of famous landscape paintings were fed into specially developed AI pipelines - together with data from the World Climate Report - which were trained with the painting styles. This turned the scenarios of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change into images bringing the devastating consequences of climate change to life.
