In 2025, Earth is facing its sixth mass extinction. As biodiversity diminishes, ecosystems become increasingly fragile. Thankfully, bioacoustic AI has made it easier than ever to monitor changes in nature. The Listening Pack is a hiking backpack equipped with an integrated recorder that captures the sounds of wildlife. This AI then analyzes the sounds to assess biodiversity. Each hike contributes to a global data network, empowering Patagonia’s community to protect the planet they explore.
