Arsh Raziuddin

Designer

Arsh Raziuddin is currently an independent designer in Brooklyn, NY. She worked at Bon Appétit and Epicurious as the creative director until the end of 2022 where she was nominated for four ASME awards and two SPD awards including Redesign of the year. Prior to that, Arsh worked in news media at The New York Times on the Opinion section as an art director; overseeing print, digital, and newsletters. She pitched and art directed a piece on the impact of 9/11 on muslim lives. Arsh also worked at The Atlantic for years, doing a little bit of everything. She was working on the redesign of the print magazine in 2019, web illustration and packages, and pioneering The Atlantic’s new social media presence, among other things. She designed the first feature to ever be nominated for an ASME at The Atlantic. Currently, Arsh is freelancing at The New York Times styles section among branding, editorial, and illustration work. Whether it’s politics or food, Arsh strives to bring diversity and culture into the illustrators she hires, the teams around her, and the stories she tells.
