After getting a Journalism Bachelor degree in Hong Kong, this Chinese girl moved to Hamburg for Miami Ad School, and thus changed her career path to advertising.

Taking full advantage of the MASE program, I went on an amazing internship journey all around the globe, from Ogilvy Tokyo, to BETC Paris, and then to DDB New York.

Havas Germany hired me directly out of school, where my team partner and I had the rare opportunity of working closely with the CCOs, on all different brands of the agency, including Citroën, Paypal and Reckitt Benckiser. During our time there, we helped the agency climb up to the Top 10 in Germany's creative ranking. With the project "Repicturing Homeless", we won for the agency its first ever gold Nail at ADC Germany, and the company got recognised as the 19th most successful agency of the world promoting good causes in 2019.

After 2 years at Havas, we then moved on to Grabarz & Partner to mainly work on Burger King, where we made some of the most globally talked about campaigns ever from BK Germany.

In 2019, our team won the Cannes Young Lions contest in Germany, and represented the country to compete at the Cannes Lions Festival. Soon we were selected again to be the only German representative team at the Eurobest Young Creatives competition in that same year.

The experience of living and working in so many different cultures has blessed me with more diverse perspectives and greater cultural sensitivity when creating ideas. I keep making every effort to influence the works with my own POV, be it a different angle, a more diverse casting, a fairer representation, or a more inclusive storytelling.

Aside from selling products and building brands in the daily work, I also constantly tried to propose proactive pro-bono projects for all kinds of meaningful topics and causes that I believe in, such as refugees, environment, and gender equality. Though not every idea could be realised in the end, I have never stopped the attempt.

I am always happy to offer my help to the girls in more junior positions, whenever it is needed. As my works started to be picked up by news and win some awards, several younger creatives, males and females, have approached me online, to seek career advice and feedbacks on their portfolio. I have kept in contact with them, and never hesitated to share everything that could be useful for them. I believe we can change this "Mad Men's world" to be a more diverse and equal place, but we can only do so, if we really help and support each other.
