Katarina is an award winning Senior Creative with a Political Science degree. Her dream when she entered the world of advertising 6 years ago was to unite her passion for politics and social change with the transformative power of creativity. In 2017 she achieved this with her work for Australian Marriage Equality’s ‘Vote Yes’ campaign which touched millions of Australians and was recognised globally for its effectiveness. In 2018 she brought her ambition to support women’s equality to life through her passion project ‘50 Shades of No’, igniting a national conversation around consent.

Katarina co-founded the design magazine, The Young Ones, which aimed to be an inspirational tool for young designers entering a competitive creative industry. She has further supported young creatives through speaking at events such as AGDA's First Five Out as well as tutoring students of AWARD School in 2020.

Most recently Katarina, alongside the women of the MADC (Melbourne Advertising and Design Club), co-launched the initiative The Aunties; a support system that aims to inspire, protect and champion women in creative industries.
