Hey! I'm Sarah, an American creative who, after stints in research and production, ended up writing ads in London (go figure). As of July 2021, I'm a Creative Director at the independent agency Creature, after spending several years as a Senior Creative and Associate Creative Director at FCB Inferno and doing a stint as a Creative at VCCP.

I'm a biracial queer woman who never went to ad school. Is pushing for intersectional inclusion important to me, both within the industry and in the work we produce? I mean, duh. Not just because the issue is personal, but because it's morally correct - and proven to generate better results for clients and agencies as well. I'm proud of creating work with diverse teams that speaks to diverse audiences, and regard my team's win of the inaugural Fusion Pencil at this year's One Show as one of my favourite achievements. I've also been a mentor at organisations including SheSays, the One Club, and the Jolt Academy for half a decade, championing the next generation of underrepresented talent. Ah, and I've picked up my share of Lions, Pencils, and other shiny objects over the years, too.
