After having joined Leo Burnett Beirut as a Junior Art Director in 2013, I quickly rose to the role of Associate Creative Director, in which I currently manage, lead, and most importantly teach a team of art directors and copywriters. Seeing my teammates grow, and knowing I had an impact on their individual growth, is probably the most rewarding part of my job. For the past year, I’ve been the annoying person that starts every single one of our calls with “Cameras oooon and let’s doooo this!” because I truly believe that no matter the size or type of project we get assigned, having fun while working is the only thing that keeps us in this industry. I recently booked a half hour in our creative’s calendars, right before our weekly status calls, to “Make Mondays Exciting again” encouraging one person at a time to tell us about something that gets them excited to work. During my years at Leo, I have worked on a wide range of clients and have thankfully had the chance to work with several NGOs, pushing to provide equal rights for women in Lebanon with hopes of changing many absurd laws set in our country.
