Kate Elazegui is the first Design Director for The New York Times Opinion desk, focused on evolving the storied Op-Ed legacy into distinct visual journalism for print and digital platforms. Prior to joining NYT, she was most recently the Creative Director for ESPN’s editorial sites: FiveThirtyEight, Grantland, and “30 for 30” films. Her design experience spans leadership positions at magazines, digital startups, design agencies and strategy consulting.
