I fell into advertising after experiencing the world as a pro-snowboarder.

I’ve been at Wieden+Kennedy for the last 9 years making work that people like and sometimes even talk about and very occasionally the President tweets about. Twice.

I’ve spent my professional career in male dominated industries, first in snowboarding and now in advertising as a female creative working on the Nike account.

My work is rooted in culture and focuses on the underdog story, equality and women in sports.

I made the Nike Olympic campaigns for both 2012 and 2016. That work set the benchmark the first-time round, hijacking the 2012 London Olympics by focusing on everyday athletes in every other London in the world, dispelling the perception that greatness is reserved for the chosen few.

The Unlimited stories in 2016 become the most talked about commercials of the Olympics and challenged perceived conventions of age, gender and adversity.

I’ve turned the iconic swoosh into a statement for marriage equality in Australia and celebrated the influence of the US Women’s team in the lead up to the World Cup.

Most recently, I said something that needed to be said with the Nike Dream Crazy campaign, that no other brand dared to do, and I’m proud to have created advertising that stood on the right side of history.

I want to lead by example and show that great work can be done by women that come out of left field, working in a male dominated industry, on a male dominated account and on subjects that divide the country and stand up for what’s right.
