Vanessa is a French Canadian-born, Texas-raised writer, which means, at seven years old, she learned to speak English with just a touch of Southern drawl.
While studying at Boston University, she began her career as a sports journalist—commenting on NFL and NBA news at Bleacher Report. Since trading in her press pass to become a copywriter, she’s enjoyed success working at Arnold, MullenLowe Boston, DAVID Miami and now Mischief @ No Fixed Address.
In her nearly four years at Mischief, she’s tricked Super Bowl audiences into thinking they sat on their TV remotes (Tubi), fired S.H.I.E.L.D leader Nick Fury (Marvel SNAP), debuted Patrick Mahomes' favorite bear (Coors Light), made beer-flavored, crowd-calming lollipops (Coors Light) and helped both dogs and daters get taken home (Tinder).
She’s been awarded by ANDYs, Cannes, Clios, D&AD, Effies and One Show. She has also been recognized by AdAge 2024 Rising Stars, ADWEEK Creative 100, One Club 2023 Next Creative Leaders along with being a Young Lions first place winner, Creative LIAisons mentee and named to The Drum's Future 50 list.
