ONE Asia Creative Awards celebrates the best creative work of the year from the Asia Pacific region. Formerly known as the One Show Greater China Awards, which was founded in 2014 by The One Club for Creativity, the awards were established because of the tremendous growth and evolution of creativity in the Asia Pacific market. It presents an unparalleled level of prestige and honor for creatives, designers and innovators in the region. The awards are a fusion of culture where East meets West that brings the creativity of the region to the global stage.

Boysen, the Philippines’ leading innovative paint brand, created BUG OFF, a special paint with Artilin technology that kills disease-causing pests. The brand needed a campaign that would create awareness for its pest-killing properties while conveying the beauty of Boysen paint.
To dramatize the paint’s unique ability, we launched a print campaign that recreated carnivorous plants made of out splashes of actual BUG OFF paint. The paint was captured through high-powered, high-speed cameras in precise trajectories to create images of a venus flytrap consuming a fly, and a pitcher plant consuming a mosquito.
Print ads were placed in lifestyle sections of publications, reaching and influencing readers who were inclined to repaint and redecorate their homes.
This campaign is the latest iteration to previous Boysen campaigns, “Flowers” and “Creatures.”
