Bruce Bildsten

Executive Creative Director

Best Buy

Bruce Bildsten started his career and spent twenty-five years at the creative powerhouse agency, Fallon, as a writer and Executive Creative Director. At Fallon, Bildsten led creative on iconic brands like BMW, Porsche, United Airlines, Cadillac and PBS. Most notably, he led the team that created the groundbreaking branded entertainment “BMW Films” starring Clive Owen and directed and starring a who’s who of top Hollywood talent. That seminal campaign won the top award in every major award show and was named “Best of the Digital Decade” by The One Club. Five years ago, Bruce joined the movement to in-house, becoming Executive Creative Director at the massive tech retailer, Best Buy. Since arriving Bruce has built a world class “embedded” creative department, recruiting top agency creatives and producers and winning major awards, including a top prize in The One Club’s One Screen Festival. Bildsten’s awards include The One Club Best of Show, a stack of Gold Pencils, along with two Emmy’s, the Cannes Film Festival’s Grand Prix and inaugural Titanium Lion, as well as The Grand Clio.
