Ricky Solano, born and raised in Lima - Peru, is a senior copywriter currently working at the prestigious agency David Madrid. He began his career in Peru, in agencies such as VMLY&R and McCann, but after a few years he decided to emigrate to Europe to give his career an international projection. He started his European journey in the well-known agency LOLA MullenLowe. His time at major agencies, which also include Ogilvy and MRM McCann, has allowed him to work on global projects for brands such as Coca-Cola, Burger King, Netflix, Booking.com and IKEA. Thanks to this, he has been able to accumulate several awards at festivals such as One show, LIA, El Sol, El Ojo de Iberoamérica and Cannes Lions, standing out in this last one with the multi-award winning campaign "Proudly Second Best" for IKEA.
