The Netflix series "All the Light We Cannot See" tells the story of a blind girl. In the series, there's something we cannot see either—a scene that hasn't become part of the finished series. We call it THE UNSCEEN. Netflix released it in Braille, extending the experience to individuals with visual impairments.

Notably, the bi-scriptual structure of THE UNSCEEN does not only target the visually impaired but also introduces Braille to sighted people. The unique print of Braille on transparent paper makes it easy to compare letters of both writing systems with each other. Thus, it offers important insight into how people with visual impairments gather information.

Netflix has released THE UNSCEEN in collaboration with a major German book retailer, emphasizing the importance of the Braille script system.
