About the Work

Brief: When commuters think about portable digital music players, ensure they think about the legendary Sony Walkman.

Solution: A print and poster campaign was created and centered around Sydney's CBD train stations. Each advertisement showed the lines indicating the rails on the network maps of Sydney, New York City and London replaced using earphone cords, while each station was replaced with the name of a well-known rock artist. A train may get you to your destination, but it's the Sony Walkman, packed with all your favourite songs (whatever they may be) that really helps you get there.

This campaign had a media budget of $5K.
