About the Work
Ever since the Internet came along, seems like people stopped caring about customer service. They were willing to sacrifice advice and knowledge in favor of saving a few bucks and the chance to shop in their underwear.
But Best Buy had built their business on expert service. And they knew their customers still needed it. Particularly in the crazily evolving world of electronics. So they created the Twelpforce. An online army of thousands of tech pros, standing ready on Twitter.
Every day, this digital armada scours the net searching for tech-related tweets, and provides the answers and advice people still, clearly, need. And anyone who has a specific question can tweet @twelpforce directly. And get an answer. Directly. Which made Best Buy's legendary expertise available any time. Anywhere. To anyone. For free.
And this little endeavour inspired quite a following. In three short months, the Twelpforce received over 4,000 tweets and amassed over 8,000 followers. And it's still going strong. Proving the knowledge Best Buy offers is still very much in demand. And very much appreciated.
If you have any questions on how this works, send a tweet to @twelpforce, and someone will be happy to explain.
