The COOLPIX S70 is Nikon?s latest digital point-and-shoot camera offering the next generation in touch screen technology. The S70 revolutionizes the way we interact not only with our camera, but also with our photography, and this was the driving force behind our digital demand idea:
Touch your pictures in a whole new way.
To promote this new interactivity we developed the Virtual Touch Experience as an online extension of the COOLPIX S70?s real world features. By simply adding a bookmark to your browser?s toolbar you can flick through online photo galleries on websites like Facebook, Google or Flickr. All you need is a webcam to register your hand motions and you?ll be able to access the Touch application anywhere across the web within a specially designed Nikon viewing window.
The response was overwhelming.
The COOLPIX S70 Virtual Touch Experience is performing above projected levels of visits and engagement. We are seeing high levels of on-site user interaction, particularly among key content modules and video. The bookmark asset shows the beginnings of propagation and is being used across the web by a core base of Nikon brand advocates.
