About the Work
The bust of Benjamin Franklin appears on every bottle of Oude Meester, as a tribute to the old master and spirit he embodied. To capture the essence of this mastery, we played on Franklin's first profession - that of a printer - to create a style guide documenting all the work the brand has done over the past year. An actual printer's tray was created, complete with working letter blocks and inks - which allowed people to print letters in our signature typeface. Underneath the letters where ornate boxes filled with books and other paraphernalia which outlined all of the dos and don'ts for the brand as well as showing all the work.
