About the Work

The Sunday Times Rich List has become an annual event that drives huge newspaper sales for The Sunday Times. It is one of the key times in the marketing calendar that attract both loyal and casual readers.
Our brief focussed on creating a high impact, visually engaging ad, that could run both in paper, and across outdoor sites.Everyone listed is undoubtedly very wealthy, but naturally some are wealthier than others. It is even more interesting when these are people recognise. We therefore took famous partnerships, and rescaled images so that their size within the advert was proportional to their wealth. This created adverts where the rules of how we see these people are somewhat changed when we see the comparison.
