About the Work
Marvel’s biggest and smallest heroes—the Incredible Hulk and Astonishing Ant-Man—met for the first time ever on the Super Bowl 50 stage in an epic battle over a Coca-Cola mini. Coke brought to life an original story that takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With tiny Ant-Man as the hero of this modern-day David-vs-Goliath tale, Coke celebrates the power of small and lands on the simple relatable idea that, whether you're big or tiny, “sometimes you just want a little Coca-Cola.” Our goal was to create a television spot that meets or exceeds the visual quality of the films. With an eye for cinematic artistry, we made a piece of film that was adopted by fans as “canon,” meaning that the meeting of Hulk and Ant-Man is accepted as an official part of the Marvel narrative.
