About the Work

Costa Rica has the second place in the region in breast cancer; this is a major health issue that most of the women are not aware. To make it worse they are not aware of how to auto evaluate and prevent it. Gollo, the appliances retail leader of the country decided to act, after all 75% of its costumers are woman. Gollo undressed the reality of breast cancer by undressing women on mass media. During October, the month of the fight against breast cancer, Gollo showed an auto exam video with a naked woman, of course it was censored on TV, facebook and YouTube. Finally, Gollo played the video on the media that any censorship office could touch: all the TV screens of its 133 stores.
