About the Work
Only 23% of Russians fly. The rest can only imagine the world that is out there. To communicate that S7 Airlines connects Russian travellers to 900+ destinations worldwide and to put the wonder back into air travel, we used EEG-technology to turn brains into game controllers with ‘The Imagination Machine’. Participants used the power of their brain to steer a plane on a 2-meter 3D projection-mapped globe to their dream destination. An EEG-headset with forehead biosensor measured and sent brainwave data to an algorithm that calculated the flight path in real-time. Starting halfway around the globe, each participant had 45-seconds to make it to their destination. The more focused a user was on their destination, the closer they stayed to their ideal flight path. If a user stays focused throughout the game, they receive a ticket to that destination.
