Aufgabe: One in three dogs in Germany is overweight. The main reason for that: dog owners cannot precisely match the amount of food to their dog’s activity level. How can Fressnapf, Germany biggest retailer for dog supplies, solve this problem? Idea: Fressnapf, Europe's biggest pet supplier, developed the world's first Mecosystem that tracks dogs' activity in realtime and, based on that information, shows the owner the perfect amount of food needed. Execution: The patented SmartBowl consists of the intelligent feeding bowl with an integrated scale and LED display, the interactive SmartCollar with motion sensor and the SmartBowl app. Not only do the components interact with each other in realtime and give the owner an overview of their dog's daily nutrition and activity, the SmartBowl even automatically orders new supplies the owner runs out.
