About the Work
We created an album filled with sounds of the surf and called it ‘Surfify’. We then made it available on Spotify, so that every time a track from the album was played, Spotify paid a small royalty fee to SurfAid. To spread the album and message, we developed a seeding strategy that leveraged SurfAid’s owned and earned channels. We then engaged with over 800 influential personalities from categories we felt resonated with our campaign, including Mummy Bloggers, who wanted to help other families and used the music to assist with calming their own children. Also Health, Fitness and Lifestyle bloggers who meditated or relaxed to the soundtrack. Plus of course, the surfing community.
