About the Work
To stop HB757, a bill in Georgia that legalized discrimination against LGBT, we created a fake sign company and posted signs and flyers all over Atlanta to spur action. The signs and flyers drove people to a website that revealed the Governor’s contact information and a CTA encouraging citizens to reach out directly to the Governor and tell him to veto the bill. The signs were distributed and shared in real-time conversations about #HB757 in social media, organically by influencers across the country, and by national media outlets. After the huge public outpouring of opposition, the bill was vetoed.
