About the Work
The Golf GTE is a hybrid car that can be driven in both electric and petrol modes. When more power is necessary, a single push of the GTE button combines the two engines for GTI like power. Our film ‘The Button’ features baddies from various film genres, pressing buttons to use their power irresponsibly, before our VW driver presses his GTE button, demonstrating a more responsible use of power. To truly re-create the film genres we sourced locations in Kiev, Ukraine and built each film set from scratch. The Sci-Fi set was enormous and shot in the same warehouse and equaled the size of another set used to film a famous dark lord a long long time ago. CGI was then added to make amplify it’s scale. Each of the musical scores was an original composition for each scene. It’s the closest we’ll get to make movie genres we love.
