About the Work

Americans for Responsible Solutions created the first ever bulletproof poster to relay their anti-gun violence message. The posters contain provocative headlines stating, “This poster protects you because our gun laws don’t” and “In case of gunfire, hide behind this poster.” The posters were shot with a .44 magnum pistol, and the slugs remained wedged in the posters. They were deployed in front of Capital Hill, The White House, New York and Chicago. The posters directed people to responsiblesolutions.org, urging them to take action by signing a petition and joining their cause to create a safer America through common sense gun laws.
