About the Work
“STILL UNKNOWN” is a visual design created for the D&AD Awards 2018 Exhibition in Japan. Our purpose in developing the design was to highlight the fact that D&AD is not only one of the world‘s most prestigious awards for commercial creativity, but also an organization that is deeply committed to fostering the growth of new creative talent—a fact that is not widely known in Japan. The design uses cross-section diagrams of volcanic activity as its motif, placing visual emphasis on underground reservoirs of magma that represent “still unknown” creative talent.
