The debate over border wall funding has dominated conversation in the U.S., even resulting in the longest government shutdown in the nation’s history. We took over the lively debate with a single controversial tweet from Vicente Fox, former President of Mexico, announcing that he would reverse course and help pay for walls. The tweet directed people on both sides of the debate to the “Walls for Good” Gofundme page where they could donate to the construction of low-cost, temporary housing for the homeless. Every dollar donated proved that we could make a difference when we put our differences aside.
