About the Work
Kieser Training is the Swiss pioneer in health-oriented strength and fitness training. To revitalize the brand image, we found the perfect context for the brand promise in modern everyday life: Smartphone usage. Because people are constantly looking at their smartphones, they’re constantly having a poor posture which leads to serious health risks. We replaced the paywall of the largest Swiss news publisher with an interface displaying the angle at which the user held his smartphone in real time. Anyone who brought the angle of the smartphone, and therefore, also his or her own posture into an upright position, could read the article free of charge. The campaign was published on national TV and reached over 150'000 people. A significant number for Switzerland, a small country with only 8 million people.
