About the Work
Meet the world’s first fully sustainable convenience store.
Single-use plastic is everywhere. And convenience stores are crawling with it. A shocking 90% does not get recycled but ends up polluting the environment.
Coors Light believes buying beer shouldn’t mean buying plastic. That’s why in 2022 they took the revolutionary step to move out of plastic six-pack rings.
To launch their new packaging we created a top-to-bottom sustainable concept store where you could get a plastic-free Coors Light. But also a plastic-free anything else. Everything from the products to the walls, to even the ink used on the signage was made from 100% plastic-free sustainable materials, including biodegradable spent grain boards made from brewery waste. Everyone involved, from the artists to the designers and fabricators had to rethink their craft to make sure every part of the process held true to our sustainability mission.
Our stunt fueled a sustainability conversation that generated a total of 1,453,955,243 earned media impressions, inspiring customers and competitors to strive for a world free of single-use plastic.
