About the Work
Our role was to bring the night creature to life, both sonically and musically and make it fantastical and otherworldly. The approach was to build as the layered and full environment as possible resulting in a richly textured experience. The film is both cinematic and rhythmic and the sound design should meet the size and scale of the picture and its visual uniqueness. The brief was to build a world that was as cinematic and rhythmic as the picture and pulled all the elements together. We needed to create an atmosphere that was multi-layered sonically but also musically. We used thousands of elements to create an otherworldly feel to the film. The sound design helps brings the night creature to life in a fantastical and other worldly state.
