About the Work
Suchard is a local product sold seasonally. Every Christmas, it faces an environment where brands seek distinctive purposes, very specific and concrete goals. At this time, we defended the greatest and most universal purpose of all: love.
We worked to create a life that all Spaniards could identify with. We decided to show the story, not of a family, but of an entire country. We used animation so that everyone could see themselves reflected and, at the same time, included key moments in the country's history. A spot to summarize not just one story, but the story of everyone.
The work crossed borders, becoming one of the most relevant stories of Christmas worldwide. It ended up included among the best spots of the year and went viral in more than 20 countries; places where the brand is not even present. It elevated positive sentiment and broke the brand's sales record.
A small, local story that conquered the entire planet and ended up becoming the most viewed and shared ad in the history of Spain with over 55.2 million organic views.
