About the Work
In 1977, the first Pride march in Paris was spearheaded by a few brave LGBTQ+ activists. Fifty years later, everyone celebrates Pride together. Everyone except the LGBTQ+ seniors who fought for them… Pride marches aren't adapted to them due to intense heat, loud noise, large crowds and long distances… Misterb&b, the largest LGBTQ+ online accommodation platform, reserved all the apartments along the parade route so seniors could participate comfortably from the balconies and windows. Finally bringing them back to Pride. A special Pride Flag was created with a silver stripe honoring their legacy. This initiative already went global with Silver Pride taking place in Europride in Malta and in Atlanta Pride with great success: next year the initiative will take place in 5 more cities.
