Jose Ramirez is a multidisciplinary creative director born in Caracas, Venezuela. At 19, he moved to the United States without speaking English and studied in Kentucky and Missouri, an experience that shaped his global perspective and gave him a unique understanding of the universal language of ideas, ideas that speak to everyone no matter the language they are in.

He has helped build GUT Miami into a creative powerhouse over almost 6 years. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, working a The Walt Disney Company before GUT for over 2 years, Jose’s approach to creativity has left a lasting impact on multiple brands and industries alike.

He has worked for some of the biggest brands in the industry, including Disney, Popeyes, Google, Verizon, Chase, Kraft-Heinz, Doordash, Progressive and Stella Artois, taking them to new creative heights. He was part of the team who helped land GUT’s first ever Gold Cannes Lions, with “That Look From Popeyes”. In 2022 he went on to lead the prototype for GUT Miami’s content department, overseeing a team focused on reacting to pop culture for GUT’s social AORs.

He spearheaded Google Pixel's "Javier in Frame," the first Super Bowl ad directed by a blind filmmaker, using practical visuals to bring a blind person’s experience to life. He also launched the global platform for Stella Artois, "A Taste Worth More”, and has collaborated with the likes of David Beckham, Meghan Thee Stallion, Ella Langley, Maria Sharapova and Stevie Wonder.
His work has won multiple gold awards at every award show in the industry and has been featured in ESPN, The New York Times, People Magazine, CNN, Mashable, The Washington Post, Buzzfeed and TMZ.

In 2024, Jose was celebrated in Adweek’s Creative 100 as one of the “rising agency talent you’ll want to remember” and has served in The One Club’s Young Ones jury, helping to shine a light on the future of the industry.

Beyond advertising, Jose is deeply passionate about photography, both as a means of storytelling and pure artistic expression. He has ventured in the world of music and collaborated visually with artists like Rawayana and Karina Sofía, blending his love for photography, film, and music.

That mix of visual and musical inspiration feeds into everything he does today, leading teams, building brands, and pursuing bold, undeniable ideas for iconic names across every platform.
