Chief Strategy Officer Global Health Practice
Belle is Chief Strategy Officer for the VMLY&R Global Health Practice In 1993, she was a part of the team that developed the agency’s BrandAsset® Valuator (BAV®) model, which is recognized in the industry as one of the best communications research tools.
Currently, Belle oversees the agency’s creative strategy development across all our health care brands notably for Pfizer, Allergan and Merck as well as for PhRMA. Recognized by clients for her ability to translate research into real human insight-based strategies, Belle has been a core member of the team responsible for the agency’s dramatic growth in the health space.
Belle has a BA in French from Tufts and holds a master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she studied human development and the effects of communication. She teaches research at the City University of New York in the Branding & Integrated Communications master’s program and is an active member of the Advertising Research Foundation. Belle published a book, The Advertising On-Ramp, that speaks to the new generation of marketing communications talent. She also coauthored several pieces published in Admap, including “Reinventing Qualitative Research.”
Belle and her husband, Jim, are empty-nesters on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. They are thankful for the ability to oversee their grown children on social media and in real life!
