As Chief Technology Officer for Wunderman Thompson North America, Cleve drives key executive technology decisions around strategy, innovation, and product, enabling Wunderman Thompson to deliver world-class, end-to-end connected experiences for Fortune 500 clients.

With a passion for designing platforms that enable scale human interactions, Cleve looks at creative ways to deliver technology that is both useful and useable. He previously served as Cognifide’s first Chief Technology Officer, where he built market-leading engineering and product teams with a vision that established the startup as a leading global player in experience technology. Prior to Cognifide, he held multiple leadership roles in the finance sector, designing and deploying technology platforms for investment banks such as Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Barclays and Credit Suisse. He holds a doctorate in computer science and a marketing diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Cleve sits on various technology councils across the WPP Group and technology vendor advisory boards. He is a passionate speaker, leading topics on emerging topics such as platform engineering, content architecture, technology transformation, and digital experience.

Cleve lives in Seattle with his wife and is an avid runner and skier.
