After having worked as a creative director and creative lead for two decades at several global network agencies on multiple global clients Joris van Elk founded Those Who Can, a Dutch freelance network hub holding twenty of the best Dutch creatives, serving local and global clients. Besides founder and Creative Director of Those Who Can he's also the founder and creative behind +1Mile, an organic award-winning agency working for unseen and small charity projects. He has also been a lecturer and part of the examination board at the Willem de Kooning Academy and the AKI ARTEZ in The Netherlands. He is the only Dutch creative ever to win the Lamp of Honor for his contribution to the Art Directors Club and the Dutch Creative Industry. He has won over 40 (inter)national awards and his work has been recognized at Cannes, New York festivals, One Show, Epica, Eurobest and the Effies.
