Aboud Creative is an internationally renowned agency, working predominantly in the fashion/beauty/fragrance sector—one of the most demanding areas of image creation. The agency was originally set up by Alan Aboud and photographer Sandro Sodano, fresh from graduating St. Martin’s School of Art in 1989. The pair have enjoyed a loose creative association for many years, combining Alan’s talent for art direction and typography with Sandro’s distinctive image making. As the business matured, Sandro decided to step away from the constraints of an agency environment to consolidate his photography career in London and New York, while Alan has concentrated his efforts on growing and shaping the agency in London. The agency’s work is informed by a strong visual aesthetic, fostered by an association with leading international fashion labels, but relevant and applicable to any brand with a lifestyle bias. Over the past 20 years, Aboud Creative have worked closely and extensively with strong, creatively innovative brands including Paul Smith, Levi’s, H&M and LMVH. More recently, the agency has developed creative partnerships with River Island and Neal’s Yard Remedies. Based in London, and linked to a network in New York, the agency operation is compact enough to bring style, wit and individuality to client briefs, but has the capacity to manage large, complex projects across international territories. Aboud Creative embraces design in its fullest sense, having the versatility, inventiveness and craft skills to explore many different avenues of creativity. So, alongside the art direction and graphic design projects that the agency is best known for, it has built a rich body of photography and advertising, product design and packaging, commercials direction and motion graphics. The agency’s ethos is that ideas and energy spark from one area to the other, creating a sense of vitality and the unexpected.
