Heather is the Executive Director of IDEO’s Consumer Products & Retail practice, where she uses the power of design to create more beautiful, seamless and sustainable futures for the products we buy and the places we buy them. She partners with visionary category leaders and disruptors to imagine new futures for everything from supersonic flight to global beauty, and unlock new chapters of growth by transforming their offers, organizations and industries in line with the rapidly evolving values, behaviors and expectations of consumers around the world. Trained as an architect and economist, Heather advises startups, universities and governments on innovation and entrepreneurship, teaches design innovation at Harvard, and co-founded two international logistics businesses serving some of the most remote and dangerous locations on earth.
