J Bonilla is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of award-winning international music company The Elements Music, which specializes in creating Real Records for Media - custom music for picture, produced with the same artist-centric approach and attention-to-detail as music they create for major recording acts.

J began his career engineering, programming, remixing, and producing records for some of the world’s biggest artists including Taylor Swift, Black Eyed Peas, Maroon 5, Keith Urban, and Christina Aguilera. His co-founding partner, Ian Dalsemer, also began his music career working with top artists such as Beyoncé, Elton John, Wu-Tang Clan, and Dr. Dre. Together, the duo pivoted to music for media, and set out to create a best-in-class global music company.

Over a decade later, The Elements Music is an Inc. 5000 company (#43 in Media in 2023), a founding Custom Music Partner of TikTok, has a body of work that includes brands such as Nike, Apple, NBA, Samsung, BMW, Google, Porsche, and Uber to name just a few, and has teams based in LA and London, with production partners across Europe and LATAM.
