Jackie Molloy is an internationally published visual storyteller based in New York City. She creates a wide range of work from fashion and portraiture to daily editorial assignment work and intimate storytelling.
Her long-form work explores modern families overcoming adversities all over the spectrum, with topics ranging from, women's issues, maternal health, fertility, foster care and adoption, the LGBTQ community and caregiving. Her photographs explore the complex evolving nature of family, and demonstrate its increasing fluidity, begging the question: what is family in America today?
In 2022 Jackie was listed on "The 30: New and Emerging Photographers to Watch'' as well as awarded the Leica Women Foto Project x VII Mentor Program. She previously completed a three year mentorship with Ed Kashi and James Estrin and has attended the New York Portfolio Review as well as the Eddie Adams Workshop. Her work was exhibited in Photoville in 2020 and 2019.
Her work has been published both domestically and internationally by clients such as CNN, de Volkskrant, ESPN, National Geographic, Northwell Health, NPR, Smithsonian Magazine, The Globe and Mail, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post, Time Magazine, and more.
