Women in Tech Global
ROLE IN PROJECT
I wrote and directed this commercial film for Women in Tech Global, presented in collaboration with UN Women. Thanks to various technical and practical tricks used during filming, I tangibly highlighted the obstacles women face in achieving their goals and aspirations. It was important for me to depict in a striking way, without any form of compromise, the invisible barriers we come up against every day. I wanted to offer evocative and clear images, so that those who do not experience this reality can understand the feeling of oppression just as clearly.

She's not coming - Apacalda
Through Louisa’s story, I sought to show that women are responsible for their own choices, regardless of how difficult they may be while also underscoring the profound impact of community on an individual's mental and emotional well-being. This narrative is a testament to the strength required to make difficult choices, encouraging empathy and understanding for those who walk a path of solitude.

Apacalda
ROLE IN PROJECT
As the writer and director of this film, I aimed to blend the true story with Apacalda’s own cultural background, an integral part of her musical identity rooted in Romania. Accurately and sensitively portraying the mindset of my characters is always a goal of mine. This piece captures complex emotions within a short time frame, so accessing the vulnerability of the main cast was crucial. I emphasized the loneliness and isolation that a woman, excluded from her community, can feel. The film's subtlety lies in the nuanced emotions conveyed: starting with a sense of feverishness, then moving through tension and melancholia, and finally, abandonment.Through Louisa’s story, I sought to show that women are responsible for their own choices, regardless of how difficult they may be while also underscoring the profound impact of community on an individual's mental and emotional well-being. This narrative is a testament to the strength required to make difficult choices, encouraging empathy and understanding for those who walk a path of solitude.

Gayance
ROLE IN PROJECT
This film was born out of a passionate collaboration between myself as the writer and director and Gayance as a musician, but above all, from a desire for feminine emancipation, an overflow that demands expression. It's a tale of strength, resilience, and solidarity. It represents a cry for freedom, a creative impulse fueled by a profound need to share authentic and powerful narratives that transcend borders and inspire discussion. By uniting our voices, this project becomes a collective act of liberation, a means to celebrate the diversity of women's experiences and challenge preconceived norms. I wish this film resonates with each and every one of you and spark meaningful conversations about emancipation, equity, and the collective strength of women. May the images and emotions captured on screen provoke deep reflections and nurture the shared desire to evolve in a world where every woman feels free to flourish, express herself, and fully occupy the space as she sees fit.

Sans-façon Cosmetics
ROLE IN PROJECT
As the writer and director of the Sans-façon Cosmetics campaign, my role is to emphasize and celebrate the authenticity and natural beauty of real people through the use of their natural makeup and skincare products. I got to direct an all non-actor cast, comprised of individuals making positive impacts in their communities. During the shoot, I guided them to express their natural selves, capturing moments of genuine emotion and confidence. Through genuine, heartfelt performances and voice-overs drawn from their personal experiences, the campaign emphasized the brand’s commitment to authenticity, natural ingredients, and real-life beauty. The result was a series of relatable and inspiring stories that resonated deeply with the audience, showcasing Sans-façon's dedication to enhancing natural beauty and fostering a sense of community. My aim was to create a narrative that resonates with authenticity, empowering individuals to embrace their unique features.

ROLE IN PROJECT
From conceptualization to execution, I was deeply involved in every aspect of the production to ensure that the final piece resonated with authenticity and impact. I initiated the project by developing the core concept of using dance as a metaphor for emotional liberation. This idea was inspired by the universal struggle for self-empowerment and the transformative power of artistic expression. I collaborated closely with the choreographer to create a dance routine that accurately reflected the protagonist's emotional arc. My aim as the director was to create a music video that not only captivates the audience visually but also inspires them emotionally.

ROLE IN PROJECT
I initiate and develop the overall concept and vision for the project. Megan's ability to blend art with functional design brings a unique perspective to my own creative process. I was tasked with translating the innovative vision and dedication inspired by Megan's design ethos into a compelling visual, showcasing her pieces in this moving portfolio. Through careful curation and thoughtful direction, I aimed to highlight the duality of her work—how each piece serves as both a functional object and a work of art, creating a narrative that celebrates her unique design philosophy.
