I Saw John First is a versatile director and artist living between London and Oslo, making all things moving image for music videos & commercial projects. Since completing a BA in Moving Image at Central St. Martins, John has continued to play and educate himself. Growing up in rural Asker, Norway, John gets his inspiration from long aimless walks and entertaining himself while doing so, often resulting in sketchbooks filled with odd ideas. There is a restless progression to his body of work, evidenced by all the different types of mediums and techniques he works with, be iit live action, stop motion, compositing, puppetry, prop making or 2D animation.
