Paul Buckley (YG1) is a Graphic Designer working on book covers and various other printed matter. He has been a guest lecturer at many schools in the US and abroad, and starting fall 2025 will be teaching typography & design to masters illustration students at his alma mater SVA. One of his most recent works was the snake-package for American Illustration 2025 which included many of his pieces throughout the book as well. He is well known for his work for Penguin and Penguin Classics where he packaged authors ranging from Virginia Woolf and Marquis de Sade and Will Eisner and Marvel, to Mary Karr, Audre Lorde, Stephen King, Patrick Rothfuss, Guillermo Del Toro and David Byrne.

He has published two books of Design, Classic Penguin : Cover to Cover and Penguin 75 : Designers Authors Commentary (the Good, the Bad . . .).
