ADC Young Guns is a portfolio competition awarding creative professionals 30 years and under, including designers, illustrators, entrepreneurs, and more!
Alison Hingle was born and bred in Johannesburg, South Africa, but has also worked in Melbourne, Sydney, Cape Town, London and Amsterdam.
Working in and out of the bounds of being a copywriter, she’s been fortunate enough to win over 100 awards for film, websites, web banners, direct, outdoor, radio, print, media, package and industrial design and for environmental awareness and social change, which are the ones she’s proudest of. Alison has worked on brands like Audi, Volkswagen, Revlon, Qantas, Commonwealth Bank, ABInBev and KFC and led the in-house content studio for Philips.
More than just crafting work, she loves growing people and has lectured and mentored at the University of Johannesburg, Red & Yellow School of Advertising, Australian AWARD School and the Melbourne Art Directors Club, and every agency she’s worked at. Her work has featured in Luerzer’s Archive (4x), Communication Arts (Twice), Fonk Design Magazine and a PhD Design Thesis and is part of the permanent exhibition in Cape Town’s District Six Museum. She is also a published poet.
