Matt Luckhurst is the Co-Founder and Executive Creative Director of The New Company leading creative work across Strategy, Design and Marketing. Founded in 2018 with the philosophy that brand relevance is driven through NEW and novel ideas. NewCo works across offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles with a range of global clients including Nike, EA Sports, lululemon, Ralph Lauren, AG1 the Utah Jazz and more.
Today, Matt works in a multitude of positions in the company but the foundation of all that work comes from his design background. His education began at ACAD in 2014, where he received his bachelor's degree in design from the Alberta College of Art and Design, before moving to New York to pursue a Master's Degree from SVA's Designer as Author Program. He was a Young Gun 10 recipient in 2012. Born in Vancouver, he now lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two kids.
