Michael Ng, known as “Mindflyer,” is a self-taught visual artist based in Singapore, whose creative journey began in 1989. His work explores themes of flight and escapism, blending vibrant colors, intriguing forms, and a playful touch of retro sci-fi. Inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince, Ng infuses his creations with a sense of freedom and wonder.
His portfolio includes commissioned works for renowned brands such as Coach, MAS, IBM, Microsoft, National Gallery Singapore, and Samsung. Beyond his artistic practice, Ng is the visionary behind the Illustration Arts Fest, an annual celebration of creativity since 2016. He is also a founding member of OICsingapore, a dedicated community supporting and mentoring emerging illustrators since 2006.
